I am purchasing my i phone 6 through O2 and it is just over 1 year old. It started to be multi touch unresponsive and signs of false touch. I took it into the O2 store in Watford where I had purchsed it. I was told to take it to the Apple Store in Watford. They checked it and agreed that it was unrepairable and just outside the one year warranty period, and the only option I had was a replacement. A £119 sum was charged to me for the replacement. I have since taken up this issue with Apple who have confirmed that if bought from Apple the phone would have been replaced free of charge under the Consumer Protection Act. Even though outside of the 1 year Warranty period
I therefore am requesting reimbursemnet of the £119 sum from O2 under the Consumer Protection Act
Please confirm how we can resolve this speedily
I have the invoice from Apple for the £119 which also confirms the need to replace the phone

As Apple only give a one year warranty on their new phones, I honestly don't think you are going to get very far with this issue @Anonymous
However, you need to try and your first point of contact will be customer services. Numbers in the link above...
