Which Memory Size?

Hi Everyone,

It's me again, lol.

What's the best memory size for the iPhone 6?

I'm thinking of getting 64GB size one. Don't really want the 16GB one as I've already got the 5 in 16GB and I had to delete loads of stuff before updating to iOS 8.

Has anyone any idea if the 128GB size is ok? Would having as much memory space slow the phone down in anyway?

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Go with what your pocket can afford and to what you like to hold on the phone.

I use a 16gb iPhone 6 plus but I don't hold lots of music or videos and use Dropbox for photos.

As you cannot use a sd card to increase memory on the iPhone you would have to use Dropbox etc if you filled its own memory size up.

To add Apple has addressed the issue of updating iOS O.T.A and Space requirements in iOS 8.1.3 http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1758

A bigger memory shouldn't slow the phone down  but in honesty you should be ok with 64gb unless you have 1000s of songs,videos and pictures you want to store.

I always used to try a source 32gb phones as that gave the best overall value/convenience so I guess now 64 is the optimum iPhone size.

I would get as big as you can afford. You will never be wishing you got a smaller size but may end up wishing you got a bigger one.

I'd imagine 64Gb should be plenty big enough, especially with the glut of companies offering so much of free cloud storage (dropbox, onedrive, even some tv/broadband providers).

Makes sense to go with what I can afford, and I'm pretty sure 64GB will be enough, that's 4 of my iPhone 5's at 16GB, lol.

I think 64 GB will be ample for you. Its pointless paying for a 128 GB model and then not using anymore than 64 GB on it. Although you havent mentioned what you store mostly on your iPhone, I would say that 64 GB would be more than enough. I wouldnt recommend anyone to get a 16 GB model now. With photos and especially videos getting higher in quality, the size of the photo and video files increases. Also, apps and especially games can be large in size now also.

Re "Would having as much memory space slow the phone down in anyway". All the flash storage should be just as fast as the smaller capacities, even if it wasnt, the speed difference wouldnt be noticable in every day use.
