I am not coming here to ask any question about how or when to unlock Iphone5, it is already 6 month since Iphone 5 was released. And it is the only smart phone cannot unlock at this time. It is not happy as a customer of O2, we want to unlock it, and I believe if there is enough customer complain it to O2, they will do something, maybe. I have done that. Come on guys, If you are a Iphone5 user, please complain it, maybe call them or email them. I feel so upset, Iphone5 still cannot be unlocked!!

It's worth trying a different sim and connecting to itunes. You don't always get the confirmation text. If still not unlocked I would advise calling them again or using the unlock form in my signature.

I actually tried the phone connected to itunes with a different sim in but that was on Friday morning and perhaps i was being a bit optamistic.
Will try again later when home and if no joy use the form or phone them again.

Apple swap like for like so if you take in an unlocked phone you will get an unlocked phone as a replacement.
