Using more data than normal

Hi
I have an iPhone 4s I have on my plan 1gb of data and have never gone over this in over a year everytime I use Facebook recently it swallows my data I have had to buy 600mb bolt on in three days and I'm only browsing news feeds for a few minutes at a time any ideas??

It's really annoying that Facebook set the default level to ON for that feature - It really should be OFF by default.

Couldn't agree more MI5

As you know on the iPhone I cannot just delete the accrued data in an App. I have to delete the whole App and re download. When I do this with Facebook I tend to forget to go back into the apps settings and toggle auto play off or just choose play on wifi only. 😞

They did it obviously so that people would know about it but it really is annoying I agree. Made so much worse by the never ending amount of ice bucket videos which thankfully seem to have died a death amongst my group of 'friends'.
