Upgrade - everytime visual voice mail stops working

Everytime I upgrade my visual voicemail stops working.

 

I have to call O2 then it's a complete lottery to sort it out.

 

How can I avoid this and who do I need to speak to at o2 to speed this up? The folks on 202 either have no idea what I'm talking about or try to get me to use TU GO (which is AWFUL)

Is this each time you upgrade handset or each ios upgrade?

Likely scenario is that they put you on the wrong data bolt on.
iPhones need iData for VVM to work and it's quite common to find customers on the Blackberry tariff which won't work.
You need to get CS to check your data bolt on first.
