Unlocking an iphone 5c

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

Please could someone give me some advice regarding the unlocking of my iphone 5c.

I have been told that I need to insert an non-O2 sim card, however, could you, please, confirm that a £0.99 pay as you go sim card, ie EE, bought off ebay will suffice? If not, can you recommend one.

This may seem straightforward and logical, however, being a complete technophobe, I am scared still that I will do something wrong, therefore, any assistance would be gratefully received!

Thank you for taking the time to help!!

You can get free sim from any network off their respective websites after you have gone through the unlock process with o2.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
