Trouble after porting number over

Hi
I recently got a new I phone 5s and ported my old number from EE. When I make calls my old number Is displayed but when I send texts the number that came on new sim is displayed. So I seem to have two numbers simultaneously...
Is there anything l can do to just have my old number does anyone know please?!

Check in Settings >Phone >My Number and make sure you type in the correct phone number.

This sounds like the number hasn't ported correctly and has been reported before between EE & O2.

From memory the issue was usually at the EE end so you would need to contact them to sort it out.

Thanks for all the suggestions, did the simplest first and typed my old number into phone settings and it's worked! Thanks everyone.
