Time to move to EE sadly

I have been a customer of O2 for a very long time, always loyal, first with pay as you go then contracts.

This Summer I was away on holiday, first in Cuffley in Hertforshire then Hunstanton in Norfolk.

Everyone around me had 3G, I had a full signal but no 3G, now and the I was very lucky and managed Edge, but most of the time GPRS or nothing.

I have an I phone 5, sadly without 3G the phone is of little use.

I was once proud that o2 was at the cutting edge, sadly they have been overtaken by other companies.

Are o2 actually listeneng to the many many customers that are quickly changing over to neworks that work with modern mobiles?

Im assuming you've gone through all the usual remedies to improve your services.

Does using 2G improve things.

Check your Service Status.

You must go with a Network that gives you good stable Network Signal and Data coverage.

Just ensure you thoroughly check out ee before you sign up with them with your PAC Code.

Sadly it just looks like o2 do not have 3G in the 2 areas I went on holiday to.

I have a 3 dongle that worked fine, it just seems mad I need to carry my 3 MI FI dongle to get 3G on my o2 iPhone 5.

Holiday destination aside.

Do you get stable connection where you reside , commute and work ?

After all that's what's most important is it not.

Going by the results that site gave for the area in Devon where I was holidaying earlier in the year there should be good coverage for Vodafone and no O2 coverage and patchy EE coverage, however in practise my friend who is with Vodafone had not even call coverage whilst I had call coverage only within the village but 3G outside the valley. T-mobile (EE) was patchy in the village but also 3G outside the valley. In other words I take all coverage map sites with a pinch of salt.

As ever you should go with the network that gives you coverage in the places you frequent.

I get sorely tempted to correct spelling, particularly there and their which crops up frequently in regulars posts, but as I'm just as likely to err I try and resist wink

For some of us communication is not as simple. Sorry I made a spelling mistake, sadly we are not all perfect.

For me responding to try and assist is stronger than an English lesson.

As long as I can make out what the person means then no worries.

Don't apologise.

Their is a spell check tab on the page to assist if required.
