Tethering iphone 5

I have stuggled to find an answer to this and the online chat service didnt confirm it either way.

I have an iphone 5 1Gb Unlimted calls and text tarrif.

I would like to buy an ipad wifi.

Can i use the tether function on the iphone 5 (wifi hot spot) and connect my ipad and use my data allowance or will i be charged extra?

As far as i can tell it comes from my inlusive allowance but can someone confirm?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Currently you need to be a Contract Customer to have tethering.

Be aware 1gb wont last long !

Contact Customer Services on 202 for information on how to go about this.

Turn on your personel hotspot feature in your iphone.

Dont use Live Chat.

If on a current iphone pay monthly tariff tethering is enabled as default on the account you just activate it in settings
