Roaming new iPhone contracts

I recall seeing that the top iPhone refresh contracts now included free roaming in Europe but now looking at new contracts I can't find any mention of it! Did I dream it or have they stopped offering it?? The current international roaming for £1.99 a day (& they add VAT) on top of that is expensive and very slow so I tend not to use it. If they have stopped the new offer why would they have done it as i under next year they will be forced to scrap roaming charges anyway and that will be law until UK exits the EU.

The offer was on the 30gb tariffs only iirc but the normal EU travel charge is £1.66 +vat which makes £1.99 total.

I've been looking in to retina several times and fen weeks ago free UK roaming was availaible for 20GB  and above contracts, yesterday 30gb, and today none of them, is that offer discontinued?????

Isn't that just typical of o2! They offered these perks when they had no phones in stock so nobody could actually enjoy them... now the phones are finally coming in 3 months late and they withdraw the offers! Is there anything else they could do to alienate and disappoint their loyal customers.  it really seems they are wanting us to leave them!

Of course things have gone awry on my new contract. In store getting my upgrade they assured me I got European roaming. Phoning o2 this morning I found out I don't have this on the contract. So the shop lied to me! I wouldn't have gotten the contract without the roaming as it is essential I have it. I was contemplating leaving o2 before they gave it to me but now it turns out they cheated me. On top of it the person on the phone was extremely rude and refused to put me through to a manager. Because I said OMG he said "don't bring god into it" and was horrible to me after that. How on earth can one deal with this company? You can't talk to anyone and they all cheat and lie and change their stories. The shop definitely said yes putting free roaming on the contract! Anyone not on o2 please avoid this horrible company who has no clue how to treat customers!
