Hello, I am traveling in the US and have absolutely no service, no network. The phone was working fine when I arrived, but spontaneously stopped working yesterday. I have tried all the usual tricks. I have an international bolt, I’m a monthly customer. Help please, I’m here for another 10 days, completely intolerable!

Try manually selecting a different network, even if it says it is Forbidden, @Max2024

Switch your phone down from 5G to 4G, or up from 3G to 4G, @Max2024:

Doesn’t do anything, still just getting a spinning wheel. Have tried soft reset, network settings reset, turning on and off, airplane mode toggle, etc etc

The Tips and Tricks section here

Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

contains most of the info conveyed above, but does say to reach out to O2 via Social Media if all else fails - when you have access to WiFi, try that - link below has the ways for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram - and poke them every now and again until you get a response. Good Luck @Max2024

Check wether you have the O2 Travel Bolt On or O2 Travel Inclusive

See

USA - Roaming with O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Max2024

Has this sorted itself out as yet ?

If it hasn't, are you able to check your SIM in a different handset ?

And can you try a different, maybe local, SIM in your handset ?
