I have an iphone 5 and i want to us it when i go holiday but last year my phone didn't accept the sim card i put in, it asked for a pin number because it was locked, what should i do to unlock it? Do i have to call o2 ?

The unlocking is free to Contract Customers and £15 to Payg ~ T&C apply.

When you get the email from O2 saying the unlock has been actioned, then insert the non O2 network SIM card. Preferably not a virtual network one to complete the unlock sequence before you leave the Uk.

iPhones usually inside of 72 hours with others around 4 to 5 days, however, they say, it can take upto 28 days.
