IPhone 6 won't receive text messages
I am on 4G contract with O2 for iPhone. Using a new number has transfered from another network on 18th Sep 2014 (7 days by now).
I can send texts but can't receive them, I can make and receive calls, and use data. I've reset the network, turned the phone on and off, swtich off iMessage to use text only, put my phone number under "Phone -> My Number" reset the phone, swithed carrier to another provided and swithed back to O2. None of them worked. Please Help!
I have put another of my friend's o2 sim card in my phone, I can received text messages. I have put my sim card in my friend's, I can't receive text message. This indicate that it's likely to be my account instead of my setting?

Hi
This sounds like the port has frozen in part. Speak to your original network and the O2 network to check this out.
We do know porting from Orange as an example has its issues sometimes.
Also Is this from one number in particular or all. If one then check you have not accidentaly added the number to your blocking list in the phones settings. Although if you put your sim in another persons phone and then you can receive incoming texts then possibly a blocking issue is not the problem.

Contact CS to have your account checked and to make sure the port has completed OK http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
