Forgot to mention the 2G, 3G and 4G toggle which do work fine by the way. as I've tested them. I believe Carrier 19.0 is what brought them, not IOS 8.3 as its Carier dependant and not software dependant.

@Cutiekitty992. I'm not sure what you mean, as I don't have a dim home screen on either iPad, iPhone and none of my friends have on their iPhones etc?

Is your brightness turned down?

It's not to do with my brightness settings, it's generally dimmed and won't return back to how it was before the update. Not sure what to do....

Oh right, apart from turning phone off and on, you could also try a hard reboot.

Other than that it's either a restore or a trip to apple

Have you searched on Google to see if other people are having the same issue?

I've restarted my phone but nothing, haven't done a plug in or hard reset yet. And I've googled a bunch to find nothing either. Swear I'm always unlucky when it comes to stuff like this!

Oh I'm really sorry

Have a look here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559

It just tells you how to reset the phone using the buttons. Not sure if it will help.

It will however reset the whole phone so please be cautious as you will loose everything etc, so make sure you have a back up.

I've also searched Google and forums and I can't find anything too I'm afraid. Really sorry
