I bought an iPhone for my father who is 90 and deaf. I mistakenly purchased the wrong phone. I can’t get through to anyone at carphone warehouse. Spoke to someone last week who said he had to be there as he was the account holder. Travelled 40 miles then was accused of helping him so the account was locked. I was helping him because he’s deaf.
I need to return the phone, but I also need to cancel the direct debit with O2 who were to be the service provider.
so sad that at this time when it is vital that I speak to him every day, no-one is prepared to help or show my compassion

As you purchased through CPW you must persist with them.
