I logged into find my iPhone yesterday and didn't sign out. I assumed it would automatically sign me out.
I went back into it today and I was still signed in. I waited iver an hour to see if it'll sign me out but it's not.
I'm on iOS 8 but I reember on iOS 7 it did sign me out if I didn't do it.
Has anyone else noticed this too?

You could send feedback to Apple here https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Certainly a conundrum.

I think I might give them a call actually this never happened in ios7 because when the kids were out we would track them to make sure they were where they said they were. This has only started in iOS 8

Ok.

I've submitted feedback too via the link I added.

They do have an online chat service too.

Use the "reply" button and there is an add/edit image button to insert pictures.

Basically it's a new feature on ios8 and it does not impact the battery life. I asked that I'm concerned if my phone didn't have a passcode I could be traced to my home address as other devices are at home.
He said he appreciated that and should use a pass code and he will pass on my concerns to the security engineers and if more people can feedback their concern they will look into it.
I pointed out what it says on the site and apparently that's not been uodated

Whilst I agree that a passcode should always be used it doesn't remove the fact that someone could know your passcode or get round it somehow......
I think it's another bug tbh......

Thank you for taking the time and effort to make inroads into this.

I hope they do change their online advice.

I personally do use a passcode and now will double check I log out of the App etc.
