apple wont support flash which is annoying as most sites use flash(thought apple knew all, obviously not)

No Flash ever on iOS, so get over it quick. Much web video has been dual encoded so it plays Flash and non-Flash depending on the device accessing the web page concerned.
— even Adobe are giving up on it for mobile devices in the medium to longterm (likely desktops too), following Apple in supporting HTML 5 design tools going forward.
Apple support the use of HTML 5 to achieve everything Flash does and more, as it's much less resource intensive (especially battery life), hence they are promoting the web language as much as possible.
You just have to check the Apple website for several HTML 5 animations and suchlike on the advertising of many of the features of their devices, for evidence of their commitment.
