4G Sim

Anonymous

Hi. Just got a new 4G sim for an iPhone 5 - not knowing that O2 did not support 4G on this device. Can I still use this sim to get cellular service - keep getting an error saying no network connectivity although phone shows I have 3G signal

Text ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings then reboot the phone. Also make sure you still have the idata bolt on in My O2.

You can still use the sim just as you have found out will not receive 4G on the device.

Have you done a sim swap?

Go instore & they will do it for you within minutes or you can do it online yourself

Reset your network settings.
Do you have the correct sim for your account type?
Contract and PAYG are different.
You will also need to check you are on an iData data package.

You need to mark the post that answered your question correctly, not your own post mate wink
