Hello .. just installed an Alcatel X230D dongle on my macbook Air, including Connection Manager, which was already installed on the dongle. Seemed to be okay until I wanted to use Connection Manager which wouldn't open due 'paybill date a necessary value' warning. I cannot put in the paybill date because I can't open Connection manager! I have been on various forums and this seems to be a common problem whic O2 cannot solve. On Chat i was told it must be a corrupt file and to unintsll it, then re-install it. But the Connection Manager is, of course, no longer on the dongle. I have tried downloading form the O2 website, but my Mac refuses to accept it. Any ideas please?

Thanks very much .. I shall look .. the dongle is working though, so don't need Connection Manager .. but it would be useful, and is rather annoying!

If you have an iPhone or other smartphone on a mobile contract you could tether your phone to your MacBook as a temporary stop gap measure until O2 start supporting an OS that has been released for 4 months (and was in beta for many months prior to then)
Any usage will come out of your mobile phone's data allowance though
