stopping adverts

Anonymous
Not applicable

Does anyone know how I can stop getting adverts on my HTC desire 626? When they come on, at all hours they are annoying. I can turn the phone on silent in case I miss a call or text. But getting adverts at all hours is a nightmare too.

What adverts are they?
General spam will be coming from free apps - either pay for the ad free versions of the app or delete them.
If they are o2 text ads you need to turn off your marketing preferences in your MyO2 under the "More" tab at the top right of the main page http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
