Horrified to get a bill of £118 after a 7 day holiday in Russia.   How do I avoid such shocks in future?

There are only 3 options I can think of for Russia.
1 - If on contract use Tugo over wifi http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go
2 - Use a local sim card if you can figure out how to get one.
3 - Leave your phone at home.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Really..... Let's just say every picture tells a story. I thought it was relevant...therefore I posted. I don't see a problem with that.
