Hi, my old phone has died and all my contacts were saved to the phone memory not the sim. Is there any way to get all my old contacts onto my new phone? Thanks.

Hi,

Hopefully these were backed upto Gmail as an example etc or to some form of PC Suite.

GMail Link to restore contacts : https://support.google.com/mail/answer/1069522?hl=en

If not its a learning curve and a process of re entering them.  slight_frown

What went wrong with the phone.

Try a hard reset !

Pull the battery

or

Soft reset :

To soft-reset your samsung galaxy phone Press and hold Volume Up and Power Button for 5 secs. Device will turn off and restart again. your samsung galaxy has been soft reset

Have you tried the hard reset ?

This hard reset could delete saved data.

Check your Gmail account. If your contacts were saved to your phone, they should be in Gmail as well. When you set up your new phone and log in to Gmail, all your contacts should transfer to your new phone.
