Hi @Anonymous

Unfortunately warranty does not cover a broken screen replacement if the damage was caused by you dropping it etc

If you send it for repair they will give you an estimate before any work is carried out. You can then decide whether to go ahead or get the phone returned to you.

You may want to send it to the manufacturers before using O2 repairer

http://www.htc.com/uk/

Alternatively you could try your local Carphone warehouse who have dedicated repair centres

Your only options are to repair or replace the phone. Either way you will have to pay for it as you don't have insurance.
You might find that local phone repair shops are cheaper than the likes of CPW but if they are not approved by the manufacturer your warranty could become invalid.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It may be worth checking your home insurance for personal items or some bank accounts provide mobile phone coverage. OIther than that you need to either replace it or get it repaired by the manufacturer preferably but at your own cost.

Hi @Anonymous

If you refer back to your original thread you will see I actually included suggestions about repairers. As the phone is only a few months old you are best advised to have it done by an approved repairer else any warranty would be void

Ideally it should go to back to HTC (previous thread here)...

http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android-Devices-Samsung-HTC-Sony/broken-device/m-p/859713/highlight/true#M44458

Dedicated HTC support centre/repairs here http://www.htc.com/uk/

Or alternatively Carphone Warehouse do HTC repairs http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/services/repairs/mobile-phone/htc
