Xperia Z3 static screen

Is anyone else having this issue with their Z3? I have noticed on the sony forums that quite a few people are having this particular problem where the phone will show colourful static for a split second or sometimes even longer (2 seconds on mine at one point). It usually happens when using the camera or watching video.

I contacted o2 today and they are going to send a replacement phone out within 3-5 days.

I did ask about the possibility of going into a local store and collecting the new one and dropping off the old one but no go.

I'll let you know how i get on with the new handset.

Thanks again for the help.

All the best with the new one....

Glad you're getting a replacement phone!

One question though, did you originally purchase the phone online or in-store?

The reason I ask is that I don't understand why they couldn't arrange with a store to let you drop in and exchange the phone. The only reason I could think of is that you signed up for the phone online...although I don't see that as a valid reason!

That would be what id think. O2 stores are a different entity than online.
