Solved: Xperia 10ii doesn't like summer in the UK.

So this is my second Xperia 10ii handset and both start playing up (cycling through startup until the battery dies without actually turning on or if I do get it to turn on it'll switch off if I pick it up) when temperatures exceed 25°c outside, anyone else experienced this before?

The product is sold Europe wide where temps are much higher than the UK and for longer, so I can't see that being a cause. I'd contact Sony for advice and a diagnostic check https://services.sony.co.uk/supportmvc/en/Contact/Email?cat=mobile&tab=Tips
