Wrong network showing on top left of screen

I visited Portugal in April and the phone roamed on Altice MEO.  On returning to the UK, it still said Altice MEO although obviously it must have been back on O2.  Since then I have been to Austria and roamed on local networks, but on my return it reverted to Altice MEO again!  How do I fix this?  Thank you

Have you tried doing a manual network search and selecting O2 from the list?

Yes, but it isn't in the list, Altice MEO is!

Only other thing I can suggest

reset network settings

1. Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.
2. Tap RESET SETTINGS.

And reset network from there
