WhatsApp chat backup moving from Android to iPhone

Just moved over back to iPhone after 4 years on Android.

I use WhatsApp for my work and have several group chats. I can't seem to find a genuine way of transferring my chat history over to my new iPhone.

Any help would be much appreciated! Am considering going back to android cause of it!

There'sno easy way as the back ups are in different places (iCloud and Google Drive) and they don't talk to each other.

There are 3rd party apps if you Google for them but I have no experience of any of the.

Any recommendations for third party apps that transfer WhatsApp chats over from Android to iPhone?

Am willing to pay, I use it for work and need to keep them!

I'm not aware of anyone currently registered on the forum that has done it, so you could be our first

Although over 2 years ago, myself and some work colleagues were forced to do exactly this.

We used a pc ( believe also on mac) app called mobiletrans. It has a WhatsApp tab.
Both apple and Samsung connected at same time allows you to transfer between them.
Worked a treat at the time.

Thankfully we are back on Samsung again. 😁.

While I'm on... any way to transfer data from old Huawei to iPhone without starting from scratch.

Genuinely not sure about the iPhone - completely alien to me.
