Upgrade to O2 simplicity 300 12 month

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I recently upgraded my O2 contract to O2 simplicity 300 12 month. It was previously O2 100 24 month.

Following this upgrade, I received a new SIM card by post.

Does it make sense? Will I keep the same phone number?

Thanks for your help,

Julien

You will have to use the "keep my number" form to transfer your number to the new sim. If your contract has already been transferred to your current sim card just keep the new sim as a spare and continue using your old one.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks for your quick reply.

How do I know if my contract has been transferred to my current sim card?

Check first what is showing in "My O2". It its not clear give 202 a call to check what tariff is showing on your account.

The sim was more than likely automatically sent out incase you needed to change it (for example if you have an older non-3g sim).  If your services are working fine with your old sim then disregard the new one.

I work for O2 but my comments and opinions posted here are solely my own and do not reflect those of Telefonica.
