Hello !
Ive just unlocked my Xperia J .. with a code supplied by O2 .
I want to use a local Sim ( Egyptian) when on holiday , to avoid ridiculous bills for txts and data ( No calls) !
Ive since been told that my phone needs to be FULLY UNLOCKED to do this ?
Does anyone have any information on this .
What is the difference between unlocked .. and fully unlocked ??
I dont want to get there, and find I cant use a local sim .
Thanks in advance !!:smileywink:

Unlocked means unlocked. If the unlock code provided to you by O2 has worked, then the phone is unlocked and you should be able to use it with a sim from anywhere. Who told you about this Fully Unlocked thing? Where did they get their information from, and what do they mean by Fully Unlocked? If you're concerned as to whether the phone is unlocked or not, if you know someone here who is on a different network, put their sim in your phone and see if it works.
