My parents have an old Doro 8030 phone and have recently upgraded to a samsung A10.

Will the samsung mobile delete the photos stored on the doro card if I  swap the SD and Sim cards from phone to phone or is advisable to move any photos before the swap.

 

Also is it normal to simply just transfer the Sim and SD from phone to phone?

It's perfectly OK to just swap sim and SD cards over without any issues, however, photos are not stored on the sim so they will need moving to the SD card first before you put it in the new phone.
