If photography is your thing then this is ptobably the phone for you. Personally I just use the phone to photograph family moments and the unexpected. For holidays anddays out I much prefer to carry round a pocket digital camera.

Nice phone though and good opening offer.

Im actually using a Z1 and the QX10 lens right now and I can confirm that it is very impressive indeed. Im really into my photography so this is an ideal phone and accessory for me.

Thankfully Retentions' didn't have a clue what they were on about, and I have now pre-ordered my Z1. The lens will be extremely helpful to me when I'm at gigs (of which I attend a lot).

My only query is whether the Z1 comes with the magnetic charger as stock, or whether that will be an accessory.

Retentions werent informed about this offer until this morning.

The phone will not come with the magnetic charger, just a standard micro-usb one.

No xenon flash = no interest from me.

Ill wait for the Z1's replacement next year.

Im also not tying myself in to a contract with O2 just to pay for a phone on the drip.

Nice to see O2's total cash price for the phone more expensive then unlocked unbranded direct from Sony yet again.

Having seen the phone in action I can honestly say the lack of xenon is not an issue, infact it would have only served to bulk up the phone. The low-light performace of this phone is incredible and easily matches (if not exceeds) that of the Lumia 925.

I have just ordered the Z1.

During the process the colour changed from black to white, not too fussed about that, but still odd.

More importantly how do we know if we have got the Sony QX10 Smart Lens deal?

The conformation is very ambiguous, stating Check website for availability.  Nothing on the web site to say if they are still available or not.

Would I be safe to assume that as it appears on the order I was successful?
