Hello all,
My phone is will not connect after dialing. It displays the 'connecting' logo but never rings and times out. Also I can not receive calls. I have just returned from journey abroad.
At the airport yesterday I noticed:
1. it was in the midle of an application with the display frozen. I had not selected anything.
2. The battery was completly flat. (It had been fully chaged a few hours before.)
3. I could not exit or switch off. I had to disconnect the battery.
Today after recharging the battery I can see all of the functions i.e. settings contacts etc.
It connects to my personal WIFI at home. However when I try any site on the internet I get a message 'Security Warning. this certificate is not from a trusted authority.'
On the menu I can say 'continue' and it lets me in.
Also it shows a date in January.
I have the 'Sony PC Companion' package on my home computer. Should I try the 'Repair' option under the 'Support Zone'?
I have backed up my contacts to the SD card.
I am trying this forum to see if there is a simple fix before seeking O2 technical help.
