I have a Samsung J3 2016 phone which will not give me the option of moving data to the sd card.Any ideas please.

Storage to SD Card - Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016)
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Samsung folder Samsung folder icon > My Files.
Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
Select an option (e.g., Images, Audio, etc.).
Tap MORE (located in the upper-right).
Tap Edit then tap the desired file(s).
Note Selected when a check mark Check mark is present.
Note Tap All (located in the upper-left) to copy all files.
Tap MORE.
Tap Move.
Tap SD card.
Navigate to the preferred folder then tap DONE (located in the upper-right).

Thank you so much for this info. I have been trying for a year (!) to move things to SD card and this is the first time anything has worked. I have no idea why this is so straightforward yet I missed it. I thought my trouble was that the phone number on my SD card is not the number on my phone, which I cannot understand either.
