My Samsung galaxy tab s6, which I got from 02 in November 19 has died on me. What do I do in order to get an urgent replacement bearing in mind the current situation. I use it for work and the family use it for intertainment at home as well. Am worried sending it for warranty will take ages and yet I desperately need something to use now. Any suggestions please thanks.

Phew thanks to you both for replying me this early. Am totally lost as I can see this taking a wee bit long to sort out, expected and can't be helped but I am really desperate to get at least a replacement. Wonder if they would do a replacement swap wishful thinking I suppose. I will try and call Sammy and 02 but one needs the patience of a Saint these days grr!

They wont do a replacement swap @marvi0  as you are well past the 28 days return/exchange for faulty goods.

However, I gave you the numbers for O2 above. Try any of them, as it's worth a try. They open at 8am.

Hi @marvi0

Although it is under warranty, there is no way you will get an urgent replacement in this current climate.

You could try ringing customer services and ask their advice. I'm certain they would want it back to look at it (even though repairs are closed).
Your best bet is to give Samsung a call https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

If you need to call O2, all numbers are in this link Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

@marvio

Then only option im afraid if you want a zero cost option is to send it in for warranty.

There are delays in warranty service due to the current situation but they are still happening.

I would recommend contacting Samsung direct using https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

And they can help, otherwise it will be o2 repair centres.

The other option is to buy a tablet from Amazon such as the Kindle they start around £79

O2 repairs are closed as I mentioned above, so my recommendation was to contact Samsung as well.

NB, even if they were open, I would still recommend Samsung, particularly as the tablet is under warranty. wink

@Cleoriff

as per the COVID-19 page - o2 repairs are open and they are processing with extended lead times,

"Thankfully, many parts of our business are still running as usual. So most deliveries, returns and repairs will still happen in the normal timeframe. If this changes, we’ll let you know." and tmtfirst are still open and operating for both Samsung and o2

@marvi0 Samsung operate live chat as well, so if stuck on the phone try live chat and the self service pages slight_smile
