Hi its me again!!

 

Please can you tell me if I have Sat nav on this phone for driving and if so how do I access it please, does it speak, and is it free?

Yes, that's how it works, if your car has that function available. If not you just use the phone to transmit the sound. The maps will all be on screen so I suggest a car holder/dock of some sort to attach the phone to a suitable viewing position in vehicle.

Google maps has inbuilt navigation facility. It's free except you will have to access data unless you download your entire journey on wifi before you leave home.

How do I 'access data' and how do I put it on loudspeaker for driving purposes? thanks again M15... good job I can come on here anonymously isnt it...

Access data is just the phone doing it's usual data download. You don't have to do anything specific. The sound will also come out of the loudspeaker by default. If you have a car which connects over bluetooth using rSap protocol the sound will come out of your car's speakers too.

Can confirm that it works a treat... My husband set mine up on my S3...(he used it not me!)...he gave it his seal of approval, which is good really as I expected him to be a bit snidey about it..as its my phone not his:smileytongue:

My husband is as clueless as me unfortunately...not that you'd think that was possible... Ha! Ha!
Cant wait to be able to use it though as I cant get anywhere without a sat nav.

What car do you own?

 

If your car has bluetooth phone integration you just pair the phone with the cars system. The rest is all automatic......

Honda Civic about 6yr old ?? I see so I set up maps, find destination, then make sure the phones connected to blue tooth and if the car has blue tooth it'll automatically connect?... Sounds brill!
