Solved: SIM card problems

I received a new S7 Edge and micro SIM to go with it today, but lost the original sim from my old phone meaning I can't change my number to the new SIM. Is there any way of transferring my number without the need for my old SIM?

Only by contacting cs http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus but there is a problem with the phone lines which o2 are trying to fix currently.
