Would I be able to buy another SIM card and transfer my number now to a new SIM card? Even if it is on contract

If your needing to transfer your contract and mobile number from your current SIM card to say a different sized SIM card because your changing phones and it accepts a different sized SIM card ,or your current sim is damaged / faulty ,then all you need to do is ;
Pick up the correct sized blank SIM card from an O2 shop. They are free.
Make sure you pick up one for a contract.
Either they will do the swap in store or do it by texting SWAP to 20220 or via this link http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk
Sims can be requested from the online O2 web page or via customer services on 202. Takes a few days to come via post.
It takes from a few minutes to 24 hours approximately to fully reset your services on your phone. Turning the phone on and off helps reset it.
