Poor / Intermittent Signal

According to o2, I should receive (and I quote) " GOOD INDOOR AND OUTDOOR 2G COVERAGE at my home post code).

Is it reasonable then to assume I should be able to call and text? I don't expect to be able to use Internet cos 2g is crap.

If it is reasonable then I intend to take o2 to the Advertising Standards Authority as you cannot get signal indoors at my home address and no matter how muchi complain all I get is that service is working fine and I have a perfect 2g signal.

On the subject of signal, o2 has gone downhill over the last 3 years. Signal is dreadful across the country. i travel a fair bit and am amazed at how poor it is and how much of the country is not covered at all.
4g? About time you got 3g sorted.

Ok well we know that won't be for at least 12 months as that I have already been told by o2.

There are no plans to upgrade the site even though it is not fit for purpose.

I am somewhat disappointed to note that is now considered"resolved".

How can the 4g rollout solve the problem is there is no 3g here? And o2 indicate there won't be as it is committed to 98% 2g 3g 4g by 2017 so will be stuck with dreadful 2g.

I note Ofcom are taking networks to task over this ad well.
