Oppo find x2 esim?

Very interested in the oppo find x2, but my understanding is its only single sim. Is it possible, with a software update, 02 can maybe perhaps enable esim for this phone?

Esim is available on Apple, Samsung, Pixel and surface pro https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/esim

Just to add the x2 will never support esim, as the functionality isnt built in to either the x2, x2 pro or the x2 lite
