Hello
I upgraded to a Note 3 last week and after getting home I noticed that there was a slight scuff mark on the right hand side of the device, right on top of the bezel, no amount of polishing with a lense cloth is getting rid of it. It's not the protective sticker either.
I've done a bit of Googling and I'm not the only one with this issue but it's not widespread either, I'm in two minds about trying to do something about it as I don't want the replacement to be worse but at the same time it's a brand new phone.
If I asked O2 to replace it would they laugh in my face or replace it?
I have insurance with them if it makes a difference.
Thanks

That's good to hear, I'm heading to the store soon so hopefully I'll have an update within an hour or so.

It's been sorted but unfortunately not the way I wanted.
I asked to cancel the contract, however because I did a fast track upgrade I waived my rights to cancel it(!) In the end I was transferred from my contract to a simplicity plan which I intend to cancel ASAP.
Fair play to the store, they busted a nut to help me out but the system was saying no.
Sorry O2 but you've lost a loyal customer.

Bad news, but you'll still be in contract with the Simplicity deal surely?
I assume they've taken the phone back.

Sounds a bit like ( as my old Mum would say) "cutting off your nose to spite your face"
You've gone through the hassle of losing money for the fastrack upgrade, cancelling down your contract and having to sign up with another carrier (including credit checks etc..) all because there was a slight scuff on the bezel of the phone..which was probably hidden when in a case???
Takes all sorts I suppose.
