Nexus 4 v 4.4.2 Internet and MMS settings

Anonymous
Not applicable

Morning all

Please can someone help me with the settings for internet and mms on the Nexus 4 Android version 4.4.2.

O2 chat guru's keep supplying me with some that don't work.  I found some more on one of these boards that allowed by MMS to work but still no internet.

I'll be very grateful of any help as I'm getting no where fast!

Thanks

Ok, so no 3G or anything showing next to the signal bars.

Very weird indeed.

What is your monthly data allowance?

Possibly try calling O2 to have your account checked.

No the signal bar doesn't show anything about 3G.

I've just upgraged to 500mb a month and haven't used any yet.

I'll get my account checked out.  Thanks for your help.

Are you on pay monthly or pay as you go?

Maybe because you just upgraded to higher allowance it's activating or something...

Not much help. Sorry.

It should still show the connection though even if the data wasn't active.
If apn is selected and data turned on I can only assume the handset id faulty in some way....?

Are calls and texts working OK...?

Thanks for that Rich.

Does sound like there might be a fault with the handset.

How long you had the phone for?

If less than 14 days, maybe take it in as faulty and have it replaced?
