My Googlemail accounts on my Samsung Phone

I am really struggling with something and need help !  I have two gmail accounts registered on my phone but only want to use one of them.  When I try to remove one it then says I have to revert to factory settings which means of course I will lose everything.  HOWEVER, when I try and purchase an app it only offers me the e:mail address that I don't want to use.  I just can't seem to do anything about it !  Can anyone help.

The Gmail you first used is the one you are tied to, as you quite correctly have discovered, to remove this you need to reset your device.

Download and install Samsung Kies or Wondershare Mobile Go, back up your device and take the plunge.

Good luck.
