I am posting this topic to launch the Kindle Fire HD (KFHD) for discussion.
The KFHD is an Android device running a customized Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, it is now the second-best-selling tablet after Apple's iPad.
Estimates cost the BOM from 95GBP to 125GBP but it sells for just that, Amazon’s business model is to profit from the sale selling of digital content; music, books, apps, etc. It therefore comes with a shop use interface via a linked Amazon account with one-click purchasing.
The community’s knowledge is invited to advise users on getting the best from their KFHDs.
