I've been trying to add jelly bean to my phone & get stuck on leave cs..  what does this mean?  I've been trying with the xwlsw firmware (carphone warehouse) I didn't get my phone through carphone warehouse though.  Would this make a difference?

I'm not in a position to link up my phone to Odin so having to rely on memory, but I thought that was an indicator that you could progress, i.e. press 'start' and flash the firmware.  Is your S2 un-locked (i.e. not branded to O2)..?  And if you can press 'Start' in Odin then go for it.

Hi all,

My Galaxy S2 9100p still hasn't updated to Jellybean and getting quite inpatient now. Both of my friends have this phone and they updated 2 weeks ago. Any news when mine will be available?

I agree totally with the above.

It would be nice to get some sort of idea when it will be released. Annoying to see Orange released their already.

Yes, it's all rather odd that it's taking O2 a very long time to release their update, especially when Orange has already released theirs.  I believe Vodafone was even further back but they hadn't rolled out the P model with NFC.

Originally I was getting a bit rattled by this, especially once the wife's S2 (Vodafone) had seen the update but after discovering Odin, SamMobile and the standalone firmwares direct from Samsung I was more than happy to update manually, albeit with the non-P flavour(s) so losing NFC capability (which I'd never used anyway).  But it's nice to have the update(s) direct from Samsung with NO changes made by O2 or likewise.  Worth checking out if you're happy to have a fiddle.

Is your phone still locked to O2?

was that to me bondquest? if so then o2 sent me a code to unlock the phone. O2 did say to me that when the phone is unlocked, connect to KIES and will 100% update, but nothing.

I sent you a question in a PM. Have you inserted a non O2 sim in your phone after keying in the code?
