Not applicable

Hi

I will be travelling abroad this weekend and want to take advantage of using Internet on my phone (£1.99 per day with 02).. Currently when I go abroad I am not able to access Internet. I know I need to adjust the settings on my samsung galaxy s3 but want to make sure I do the right thing. If I turn on data roaming will I be charged significant roaming costs?  (this warning comes up everytime I press it) I have 02 travel on my phone package... Help!

You need roaming on to access the O2 Travel package. As long as you are in Europe you will be charged £1.99 per day for each 15Mb block of data.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Using local wifi and turning off mobile data will stop data charges or you could use a local SIM card if your phone is unlocked to all networks are alternatives.

Also it's an idea you turn off O2 voicemail before you leave the Uk to stop charged.
Dial 1760 to turn it off and 1750 to re activate it.

Have a good break.

The pop up warning is normal and most phones do it and it was built in when data charges were not controlled as they are now.

The charges will be as advised.
