Internet Connection

I hope somebody can help with what is probably a simple problem, I cannot connect to the internet when i'm outdoors, I must have altered a setting on my phone as it was working previously.

I can connect at WiFi hotspots and to my home broadband but not elsewhere.

I would appreciate any help.

I don't know what phone you have but mostly it will be in network settings or a long press on the power key will bring up some options.

Start by texting the word "Active" to 2020. Save the settings that get text back and restart the phone. Also make sure you have data turned on.

If you turn off your wifi you should see a 3g symbol appear in place of the wifi symbol on the phone.
