Help required with Samsung S111

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

I had been very happy with my phone until recently. The phone started to switch off at night which was annoying but for the past week I cannot connect to the wi fi at work and the O2 signal is almost non existent. When at home I have to constantly re start my phone and sometimes the odd text or mail gets through. I have tried uninstalling some apps that have been on my phone but there was a Samsung update recently that I dont know how to uninstall in case thats the problem.

Has anyone else been having connection problems? At the moment I may as well not have a phone as it is hardly working anywhere!

Any advise will be great :-0

If you have tried all the ususal stuff such as clearing the cache, battery pull (leave it out for 5 mins) you may have to do a factory reset. Make sure you have it all backed up first.

My suspicions are that the main board has gone faulty, but, first you need to back up and do a factory reset. This will reset your phone and delete just about everything you have added to it since you got it. Do not restore it immediately after you do the reset (you might be putting the issue back on the phone if it's software releated). Leave it a few days. If it still fails in the "as new" condition you need to get it back to Samsung for investigation and repair. If it is working OK after the reset, add your apps back one by one so you know what changed to give you issues.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
