Any idea when the HTC Jelly Bean update will be released for the One X?
I understand the forthcoming HTC One X+, listed as an October release on coming soon, will come with Jelly Bean already installed, does this mean other HTC Handsets should get the update a bit quicker, as I assume all the "testing" that O2 normally do on updates will already have been carried out for the new handset.

Hi guys,
I can understand you want the update ASAP. The software update has been tested and is now being rolled out in phases, so everyone will be getting it over the next few days, if not straight away. The best thing to do is to keep checking from time to time.
The phase is controlled and automated by hTC directly, so we can't do much or give you an exact date/time, but it should be there soon.
I hope that helps,
Leonard

So this thread is nearing the ten thousand view mark, and we've only just had a response which is "It has been released, keep trying." The same response (one of many plucked from the hat) that we've been receiving for the past few days. Even though literally no one on here, Twitter, XDA, the internet, ANYWHERE has the update yet.
The responses from HTC UK's Twitter feed make it seem like it hasn't been released yet either and that they're waiting on o2 still.
So, why does it need to be released in batches? How many in a batch? How many phones are there total to roll out to if it's being rolled out in batches? As o2 can't seem to give the correct response (which is basically something other than "Pff, dunno. Keep trying), I'll write it for you:
"We apologise for the needless delay in getting this update to you. We'll double check that it has actually been released and that the process is going smoothly. You should have it for certain by this date: #### As this process has been a mess, we'll look to improving it and increasing communication and transparency for future updates, both within o2 and outward to customers."
I can wait for the update, that's fine. It's o2s attitude towards it that has been horribly annoying.
