I just thought I'd share a discovery I made regarding a very annoying error I have had since transferring my data (using Samsung Kies) from the Galaxy S2 to the Galaxy S4.
The error occurred from the very first text (SMS) I sent. As soon as you hit the send icon the phone reports 'Message not sent.' ... there is a bit more to it about reviewing the messages but it's very recognisable and very annoying ... paticularly as the intended recipient receives the message without issue.
As of last night I resorted to going through every SMS conversation on the phone trying to discover what might be pending delivery. In the end it turned out to be easy to identify; there was a conversation with the recipient titled 'anonymous'.
There were no messages in the thread and by long pressing on the 'anonymous' entry in the lust of conversations is was able to select 'delete thread' and the permanent error simply dissapeared.
If no one else has this issue then thats a bonus ... if they do then I hope this helps to resolve it for you.
