Hi,
Plugged my Note 2 to charge overnight, got the usual audible note and the charging symbol.
When I unplugged it this morning the screen didn't come which I thought was odd, the phone won't respond to ANY button presses whatsoever, I've taken out and replaced the battery, nothing, tried another charger, nothing. The only thing I can visibly see is a small red light flashing intermitently at the top. This looks like the phone is seriously deceased. It's 5 months old and insured, there's no way I am accepting it being sent back to Samsung for repair, it takes 10 days. I'm furious over this and need my phone urgently for work purposes etc.

Unfortunately if the phone ha developed a fault after 5 months it will have to go for repair. O2 won't just exchange a faulty phone. They do a loan phone whilst it is sent away for a returnable £25 deposit.
Have you tried a reset?
Hold the volume up button, the the home button and the on/off button down to see if the phone will respond.

Its under the Samsung 2 year handset warranty, get in touch with Samsung directly & they will look after you.
Whatever you do DON'T let O2 send it away for repair!
